We don’t currently source bags for individual requests, but we’re always listening to what our bag community desires. How can I tell the condition?

To ensure you know exactly what you’re getting, every item features comprehensive descriptions and high-quality images. At theLuminaEdit, we meticulously inspect each piece, and any significant flaws are clearly noted in the listing’s condition details.

We celebrate the unique journey of each pre-loved item, often reflected in its individual characteristics and minor imperfections. By choosing these treasures, you’re not just acquiring a beautiful piece; you’re becoming part of its ongoing story while making a thoughtful and eco-conscious decision.

Understanding Our Condition Ratings:

Each of our pre-owned items carries a history, which may be evident in subtle imperfections. Please be aware that unless explicitly stated, these items are not in pristine, unused condition. We carefully examine and openly describe any notable flaws. We encourage you to study all provided photos to fully understand and appreciate the unique character of the item you’re considering.

  • New: Never used, but may or may not include the original dust bag
  • Mint: Looks as if it has never been used, new with or without tags and/or original packaging.
  • Excellent: Shows minimal signs of light use and appears clean.
  • Very Good: Displays some visible signs of wear but remains in great usable condition.
  • Good: Shows moderate wear, with any specific flaws detailed in the description or shown in the images.
  • Fair: Exhibits clear signs of wear and may have noticeable flaws. This condition offers the most accessible price point.

Important: If an item includes its original tags, dust bag, box, or authenticity card, this will be clearly stated in the product description.

Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Please allow 7 to 10 business days for us to carefully process your order before it ships. You’ll see the exact shipping costs calculated at checkout. While we strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible, The LuminaEdit cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date or time, as unforeseen delays due to weather or other circumstances outside our control may occasionally occur.

We apologize, but international shipping is temporarily unavailable due to high order volume. However, we are considering offering this service in the near future.

How much is it to ship?

How does customs work and who is responsible for paying duty fees?

Customs is the government authority that manages the movement of goods across international borders. For purchases made in our store, we handle customs and duty fees upfront at checkout. These fees are automatically calculated based on your shipping destination and the specific item you’re buying. This way, the total cost you see before completing your order includes all applicable duties and taxes, ensuring a transparent and hassle-free experience.

What items are ineligible to ship internationally?

Important Note Regarding Endangered Species Materials: Some of our handbags may be crafted from materials sourced from endangered species, such as certain exotic leathers (e.g., alligator, crocodile, snakeskin) that are protected under CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). These materials may require special permits or face strict import prohibitions depending on your location.

Before making a purchase, it is crucial that you verify the specific import regulations of your intended destination to ensure the item complies with all applicable legal requirements.

Can I pick up my item locally?

As an online-only retailer, we currently do not offer local pickup. Our processes are optimized for efficient online order handling and secure shipping to all our customers. Introducing local pickup options would create logistical challenges that could affect our ability to provide seamless service. For your peace of mind, all orders (excluding merchandise) are shipped securely, fully insured, and require a signature upon delivery to guarantee they reach you safely.

Payment

Do you offer payment plans?

Sorry, currently we don’t offer payment plans. But in the future, we will consider it. 

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the applicable tax rate for the shipping address you provide. If you need to change your shipping address after placing your order, please be aware that the sales tax will be recalculated for the new zip code. Any additional sales tax charges resulting from this change will need to be paid in full before your order can be shipped.

As required by law, FashioNica collects sales tax on all orders shipped to the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Returns/Cancellations

Can I return or cancel my order?

We know how thrilling it is when a new Bag Drop goes live! To ensure everyone has a fair chance at securing their desired item, we kindly ask that you carefully review your selection and feel certain about your purchase before proceeding to checkout. Due to the unique nature of our sourcing and thoughtfully curated inventory, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. As a reminder, please take a moment to thoroughly examine the bag details, as indicated in the notice at checkout, before completing your order.

In limited and specific situations, we will consider cancellation requests. If a cancellation is approved, a 5% restocking fee (with a $55 minimum) will apply.
